Mon 9/23: AM: Lower Arroyo, 7.8mi, 58min.
Tue 9/24: AM: La Loma repeats, 4:56, 5:03, 4:56, 4:53, 4:52 for ~1300 each and a huge hill at the end. 9.5mi total. No barn workout! Strange Achilles pain for some reason, but only in recovery between intervals so not too worried.
Wed 9/25: PM: Garfield long way, 41min (!!! crazy fast), 5.7mi so around 7:15 pace. Felt solid. I've been feeling this strange calf tightness in the beginnings of runs for a while now, but it was never bad enough for me to note it. I stretch and bike before most runs, so not exactly sure why it's there...
Thu 9/26: AM: 6on, 2off x 4 at Lacy. Felt decent, bit behind Will the whole workout. Leg tired. ~8mi total.
Fri 9/27: AM: Tu Madre pretty easy, 5.6mi.
PM: 2mi around the track at like 8min pace. Easy peasy.
Sat 9/28: AM: Rose bowl loops, 29:10 for 7 loops (7.65k). Was within sight of Rishabh and Elliot but never managed to catch them. Rest of the pack fell back at around 3 laps. Felt amazingly good... probably started too slow and negative split a bit. Warmup 3 laps around cd 5k around rose bowl. 9.9mi total.
PM: DDR, not too much but played a few 11/12's.
Total: 48.5mi + DDR.
51mi equivalent.
